The entire 7- mile strip of beach along Estero Island has been dubbed “the world’s safest beach,” because there are no steep drop-offs or rough bottom terrain. Rather, this family friendly beachfront allows waders a gradual, inch by inch entry into the warm Gulf of Mexico.
